She was bored and quite . Lethal combination for someone like Katherine. But, if she was being honest, which she rarely was, the would admit that all she was trying to do was cover up the fact that she was beyond pissed. Mostly at the mighty hybrid, but partly at herself too. Why? It was quite simple, really. Over the last one hundred and thirty-two years, the has done an exceptional job at keeping her presence unknown to most, if not all the people that tried to killer her at least once or twice during her lifetime. But, as it is with most good things in life - they at one point or another must come to an end. Which was exactly what happened the second she blew her cover with the one she hated the most.
Klaus.
So here she was now, roaming the woods, itching for something or SOMEONE to take her anger out on - itching for a good kill. Of course, these days, it wasn’t as easy as someone like Katherine would like it to be. Humans were dropping like flies - which meant it wasn’t in her best interest to continue going on her killing sprees. That was, if she planned on surviving this little thing she liked to call the apocalypse. Usually, she was all for it. After all, she was nothing, if not a survivor, but at this very moment - she didn’t care. She wanted to feel that rush. She NEEDED it.
But, if she was to ever get to the task on the hand, the needed to get rid of whoever was lurking around, following her every move. Someone was clearly there. Somewhere around her. She could sense it, she just couldn’t quite see them. So, she stopped in her tracks, doing a little spin around as she spoke.
“Tell you what, if you come out now, I MIGHT just put you out of your misery faster.”
